Trusting them as the wise, thoughtful loner - a poem.
My duty, to trust them, a real difference maker –
True friend or flake, do I need a salt shaker?
Eating alone, should I really rely,
On my small, idle chatter to somehow get by?

My selfless companion, who’s quietly able,
To hear my sweet voice at the edge of the table,
Can wisely hear talking, and know how to react,
Still charged are my feelings, so worded with tact!

A world without feelings, so calm, do I trust them?
So distant, yet wise, how long have I cussed them?
A life without meaning, I’m quite inappropriate,
So shallow and alone, and not really worth spit.

But I see many trees in this wide open forest –
Often true sacrifice appears quite the worst…
But one thing most certain, I shall take status quo;
Change is a-coming, and I’m raring to go…
