A nice little poem with multi-syllable rhymings.
Nothing is ever promised, like when mama said she was returning soon,

she wasn't honest, but still I believed her like a fool;

We take for granted, the chances we get to take an advantage,

Advancing like ignorant soldiers avoiding the damage;

I guess, secrets and lies are what evil resides in,

decide if, you want to bring it to life or keep in in hidin';

Even despite what's televised,

and what creeps in our minds;

It's like a freak in the night! Sneaking inside,

Releasing a vibe, that we all receive then a sign;

A gesture, as deceiving as spies,

We thought the greeting was kind, but later seen it was sly;

I guess, secrets and lies, is the piece to the pie,

Trying to seize the peace but it slides;

From our grip, in my fists,

As I reach for the time;

And if my hands touch 'hands',

Then my fingers will pry;

Open the window of oppor-

Tunity, it's seemingly mine.
