thoughts when looking at the stars
You walk in the heavens.
Shine among the stars.
Your deeds,    long forgotten.
We know your name,
Orion

Did the hunter,
return from the hill.
To the hearth of his home.
To the arms of his love.
Are you hunting still.
Orion

What did god ask of you.
An endless quest or hunt.
A mythical beast to slay.
To guard the heavens forever.
We can not remember.
Orion

You shine among the stars.
Your deeds are long forgotten.
We remember your name still.
I hope you came home from the hill.
