A short poem about doing the best thing in a bad situation
Wishful thinking
And bar room drinking
Has never won anyone's race

With your head in your hands
your trouble expands
Get up and get out of this place

One step at a time
and soon you will climb
up and over your fallen disgrace

There's people that need you
and still want to see you
stand tall with a smile on your face

Now, don't ever doubt
that you've been a lout
but you would be hard to replace

I'm no one to thank
for being so frank
It's your family, you need to embrace
