Words have the power to kill.
I heard a secret,
and I shan't repeat it,
it had the power to kill,
to make someone jump off a window sill,
or take a dozen pills,
I couldn't tell her,
or I'd lose her,
the pain held behind it,
could lead to a forfeit,
her life was in danger,
day by day I acted stranger,
I knew the secret,
I needed to deplete it,
so down my throat the pills went,
and off the window sill I went.
