It's a brief sort of a tragic romance/fantasy poem~ Revised
Our beautiful city veiled with secrets hidden below.
Could we ignite our world and burn? Would you burn with me or no?
Because you see I hate the winter chill in this god forsaken city,
Frozen bones and cold eyes, I am something to be pitied
Because the city is without love, and maybe love is out of fashion?
When you left you took the last trace of love, my sky is crashing.
I miss the taste of whiskey and gasoline, the scent of fire still burns;
burns with something reminiscent of a lost love never to return.
Still, you never said goodbye. And maybe that's why I'm waiting here.
Dissolving under the acid rain as I wait for your ghost to appear.
With bruised knees and dead flowers I will kneel at your grave.
Here lies our love story, the boy I could not save.
