A girl who is driving while falling asleep. It's more in depth than that, but E-rated. :)
Her eyes can't see the miles ahead

In this wintry midnight.

The headlights waver in her sight.

Her weary mind travels from the path home.

The dizzying stars are dimly lit in the dark.

The wheel slips out from her hold.

She falls asleep nearby the woods.

The car careens off street.

The windows break at the blow of the trees.

The icy chill seeps through her coat.

The weary winter night shall cease.

As red and blue lights flash

A white one shines far brighter.I

The paramedics pull her out of the wreck

Although they know it will not help.

Her eyes look past the miles ahead

Dulled, without the stars of life.
