A goodbye.
You lied.
About everything.

The lies were beautiful, though.
They promised love, unity and family.
And I believed you.

You think I’m angry, sad,
disappointed, maybe?
I was, but not anymore.

I feel numb.
I feel like I should miss you.
People say I should miss you.
But you’re different now.
You changed.
And I can’t miss you, because you are not there.
You’re someone else.
Someone new.
A stranger.

I moved on. I’m good at that.
No, I’m great at that.

You left us.
And now I have left you.
For good.
