A poem about the healing power of a beautiful snowfall after a long day.
A day of tense and stressful life
When we wished for long-term sleep in a distant land
The sky above opened and let down a wonder:
Thousands of flakes of snow

These fragile feathers of winter
Floating like the spirits of the good people of history…
Not in haste, at least not today

A sacred wonder
No need for sleep, this is a living dream
The troubles of my heart melt away
Warmed by the comfort of the frigid breeze

Silver skies and innocence
Never to be tainted by the wrath of this world
This is true beauty, in a thousand delicate crystals,
Falling from the sky

And now I find myself falling into bliss
Into a land far from here
Into a land in the corners of peace…
Into a land that feels like home
