Caused by divorced parents.
There is one who tries to save
One who doesn’t want to be saved.
The one that doesn’t want to be saved
Does he really need it?

She thinks he plays games
He thinks she plays games.
I think they are ridiculous
And laugh and cry at their antics.

When I talk to one
I am on her side.
When I talk to the other
I am on his side.

The Rescuer
And the Gamer.

At different times
They tell me their stories.
Trying to make me lean
One way or the other.

She is the Rescuer
Of the one who doesn’t need saving.
He is the Gamer
Toying with the one who tries to save.

She curses him for
Bringing her into this sadistic game.
They both bring in new players
Desperate to win this war.

The Rescuer and the Gamer.
Who am I?

I am…
I am…

I am The Observer.
