Very short story about an experience with colors.
The colors floated before the walls. I sat and watched them flow and melt and bend around the corners and windows and doors. It was, on a normal day, a pale, green, blah. Normally the color would arouse no interest; but today the walls were alive. They lived with a vibrancy unassumed previously. The walls moved like smoke in water, I reach out to touch the wall, I want to feel it, to know it. As I reach for the lotus-like globular shape, I see my hands, my skin, float beyond myself. They become part of the lotus, a green, peach, floating, flowing lotus flower. I sit and watch myself in that flower.
