They just don't see the big picture.
There is a Hitchcock film Life Boat. It's a classic.
This Captain has to decide, who will stay in the life boat.
He was court marshaled after their rescue. But, you really
sympathize with his dilemma. Now comes forth the global
      life boat.

How many ecosystems can survive industrial pollution?

Up here-yah we have a limit on how much fish can be caught.

But, they aint as plenty as they was.

Mercury is killing the hatching fry. And lobsters are getting soft shell
disease.  Toxic waste is dumped off the Maine coast.
Beaches are getting too much raw sewage to allow swimming.

Most of planet Earth's air comes from the sea. There is a thin layer of
algae at the surface that breathes new oxygen into the blue sky.
That algae is threatened by pollution, like toxic waste and oil spills.

Why does China have such a large manufacturing base?
They do not care about pollution or their workers. There is no E.P.A
in China. Their sea coast is horrid. Their inland lakes toxic.
They are an ideal industrial wasteland.

Why not tax China's imports? Because Senators and Congress can
be bought. The U.S.A. is the number one importer of China's products.
All those abandoned factory towns in the Mid-West lost their jobs to
China. It's cheaper to manufacture in China.

So. Is that the way of things?
Let me take you in a time machine.... into the future.
      There is no more oil.
The air and water are so polluted most of the land is desert.
And most people are dead or wishing they were.
This is the extinction of all life.
Without a healthy ozone, the oceans are boiling off.

Scenario II: There has been a global nuclear exchange.
                      The atmosphere has burned off.
                      Everything living thing is toast.
                      Total extinction.

Alternative III: Steps are taken to reduce the human population.
All natural resources are controlled by a central authority.
                          The ecosystem is stabilized.
                          Planet Earth thrives.

      Which scenario do you want?

                              {You can't have your cake and eat it to.}

In the year 2525, Adaline is a young girl. She knows she can
never have children. She was sterilized. Her life has been tracked.
She will be a communication associate. She will monitor all cell phones
and e-mails. Their is always the threat of rioting. Nothing is perfect
even in this New World Order.

Adaline is well fed and receives government housing and credit.
She can have as many lovers as she desires. There is no danger of
an unsanctioned pregnancy. She likes to listen to music and go dancing.
She will be allowed a lifespan of 35 years. Her usefulness will end when
    the government terminates her.

Is this cruel? Think of how many people wander through their lives with
no purpose. Think of all the wasted lives and how much simpler a structured
life would be. You receive an evaluation in grammar school and are tracked.
Your lifespan is set. There is nothing outside of progress and productivity.
    This is a happy life.

The world must be healthy. There is a threat of over population and
exhausted resources. Everything must be made safe.
    Welcome to Utopia.

Is this a fantasy? Look at the middle east and Europe and the U.S.A.
Are they on the brink of collapse and Armageddon? Whatever history
demands, there will be a great leader. Necessity will draw this Utopia.
