A glimpse at the cycle of depression.
Catatonia.



Not isolated, yet alone.
Not in a crowd, yet deafened by sound.
Cut off, yet someone's breaking through.
Falling, yet still standing.
Distracted though my mind is blank.
Mumble though my mind is fine.
Don't know. 'But you should.'
What is it I can't remember?
Racking my brain, my face turns pale.
Damn that memory for getting me flustered.
Pressure building, I break, succumbing to tears.
Sheer frustration. Everything shuts down.
