This is a poem about horseback riders.
When your a horseback rider, you are used to falling.
Falling on your back, your arms, your legs, and on your ass.
And if you truly are a horseback rider, you get back on.
You might be crying your eyes out, but you get back on.
When your a horseback rider, you learn to twist your body in ways you never knew were possible.
You get bruises that you don't know how you got.
When your a horseback rider, you are so sore the next morning that you don't want to get out of bed.
But you do so that you can go back to the barn and ride again.
When your a horseback rider, all you can think about is your horse and when you will get to ride them again.
When your a horseback rider, you have a connection to a thousand pound animal.
That is extremely unique.
Not many people can say that they have a thousand pound best friend.
I can.
And I am so happy that I do.
I wouldn't be the same person that I am today, I wouldn't be me.
