This was written on Feb. 26, 2004 :)
I look at you
As you look down at the floor.
You won't look me in the eyes
And I wait for you to say more.
I try to apologize
But my words are of no use.
I continue to question
If I should've told you the truth.
Yeah, you know of our past,
But that had nothing to do with it.
It all happened so fast.
I didnt know what I was doing
His imagination was racing
Soon his inhibitions were disclosed
The heat began to rise
And the floor held our clothes.
My attempts to stop were of no avail
And at the heat of the moment,
We let ourselves go.
There was no way to bail.
I didn't mean for it to be,
But it's all over now.
God, why won't you look at me?
I swear it meant nothing
I'm beginning to feel that
Nothing I say is working.
I turn to leave,
Our love shattered and broken.
I'm sorry to say that
I have hurt you
Because when he and I were alone
Unfaithful came out to play.
