A poem about an individual who leaves and remains emotionally vacant
It was the longest night of her life.
The day she stopped being a wife,
She had so much unwanted strife.
Her betrayal cut as deep as a knife.

She packed her things, she had to go.
And nothing said to her mattered, so,
She headed out and tried to lay low,
Although, all she did was sink below.

Nothing ever worked, nothing was right.
All she did was scream, yell, and fight.
Somewhere alone faded her own light.
Leaving her alone, and dark at night.

Her wreckage is strung out everywhere.
It's hard to forget she ever did care.
All she did was make one more error,
Slowly despair, impair, so damn unfair.
