Effects of incidents on the inner consciousness of human mind
The inner consciousness of human mind is  affected by every incident of life and as a result a ripple of the sort is formed in the inner consciousness which evokes new questions.Likewise the change in circumstances and overall surroundings create new feelings and change in thought process. This process  occuring in the inner consciousness of  human  mind never stops and continues on and on.Every time the peace of mind is disturbed by such questions, it gives rise to the feelings of iinsecurity and tension in human mind. The inner consciousness tries to seek solutions to such problems arising out of its own womb aand often it succeeds in its endeavour and gets some solutions  but with solutions come further new questions and with each new question, the anxiety and pain increases further.Because whatever be the incident, whether it raises question or answers one,the inner consciousness of mind is affected and the resulting tension, anxiety and pain give rise to uneasiness in the inner consciousness. The solution to this problem lies in strengthening and stablising inner consciousness of mind using meditation.Through meditation, some sort of enlightenment is acheived, then disturbing questions will not occur and no answer will be required. All questios will fall off eventually and anxiety and tension will go away and peace may be restored to the inner consciousness of human mind. There is great change in physical state of human body when there is any change in mind and vice versa. When the mind is affected, there will be change in the body too.According to Hindu psychologists, the greatest expression of human mind lies in it`s total illumination, which is achieved by the subjective methods of concentration and meditation and consequential mental integration. The mind must be synthesized in order for a person to achieve success.Greatnesss of mind can be judged not by its ability in action but rather by its integration and unification.

The Hindu Psychologists believe in the sleeping, dreaming, awakened states and the superconscious or Samadhi-Surupti,Swapna,Jagrat and Turiya. The sleeping and dreaming states are included in the subconscious. In India a thorough research has been done about thedifferent stages of realisation of superconscious or Samadhi through Raja Yoga practices.Certain types of lower extrasensory perceptionssuch as Hatha yoga which is primarily meant for the control of physical ailments are also in practice in Hindu meditational psychology. An external expression can be caused by different inner emotions and urges of mind.As neuoroses and psychoses may be caused to different persons by different subconscious and conscious urges and mental conditions.Hindu psychologists believe in the existence of mind apart from and independent of nerves. They are primarily interested in the study of total mind as they feel that the different functions of mind such as conscious, subconscious, superconscious, cognition, volition and conation can not be separated and moreover they are inter-related.Any thought creates an emotional reaction resulting in activity such as attraction or repulsion, pleasure or dipleasure, love or hatred. As suchthought and emotions can not be isolated and viewed separately. The emotional urge also creates activity in mind as separate from either thoughtor emotion and thought, emotion and will are inseparably connected. In order to integrate mind, study of thought, emotion and will is a pre-requisite.So one can not really understand and work on one state of mind without total integration of the whole mind.According to Swami Vivekanand, 'everything we do and every thought that we think leaves an impression on the mind even when such impressions are not obvious on the surface, they are sufficiently to work beneath the surface,subconsciously.... each man`s character is determined by the sum and total of these

impressions'.The human mind is an arena of conflicting emotions, ideas and sentiments. It contains the thoughts and feelings within the scope off awareness as well as the subconscious ideas and emotions of which we are unaware.Often the ideas and emotions arise from the subconscious area of mind, but the conscious mind as a defense reaction, tries to repress it.Such repressed emotions, unconscious urges and unnsatisfied desires,if they are strong and yet remain supressed for a longer period of time, they may give rise to nervous disorders, neurotic conditions and may also create functional diseases.

Repressed emotions are at the root of many ailments, maladies and fear complexes. Many persons become dis-satisfied with their lives due to adverse circumstances, misjudgement, family compulsions, social traditions, loss of friends, fluctuations in financial condition, death of someone near, failing health due to infirmity and old age.The dis-satisfaction causes emotional disorders and unsettles the balance of mind.

The religious methods of meditation by the process of self-analysis can be useful for restoring integration and unification of the whole mind. Not only one should analyze critically one`s ownself but at the same time try to reconstruct one's life using self-discipline.
