A love letter I wrote for a special woman one day.
I Die By Her Side

I waited for a long time,
but now she is mine;
She is always on my mind,
without her my heart would be blind.

As I move my hands through her hair,
I look into her eyes and see she will always care;
I pick her up when she is down,
I would rather see her smile than frown.

She is different than most,
my care for her can make me overdose;
She is the only thing I can be addicted too,
she is permanently stitched into my heart like a tattoo.

Words can never explain how I feel,
because our love is unreal;
I know we were meant to be,
she is the perfect girl for me.

As we grow older,
and our bodies become colder;
I look into her eyes as mine begin to close,
and feel happy to know I was the one she chose.
