Imaginary Encounter


Emerald Eyes



I went inside and turned around and there she was. Emerald eyes so dark and deep, I tumbled into them as she spoke.

Looking back I cant remember anything that was said. Her words were coming from her as I was going into her. We passed like cars on a highway. For a moment I was lost; reaching to touch something unknown. Then she winked, or maybe she blinked. Walking away I wondered to myself "what lies behind emerald eyes"?

A mystery for now.
