Tempting thoughts that kept reoccurring instantaneously
At the middle of the night I was still awake
In the dark I found myself
Silence roaming every part
In muteness I was engulfed.

Thoughts flashing through my mind
At the speed of light it was coming and going
I strived hard to hook up to one
The possibility seems futile.

Now the hour has come
In my mind a thought was registered
In a meek and gentle tone saying;
Go and steal and destroy
Immediately my hormones reacted against it
I was relieved but it kept coming.

Everywhere was as quite as the graveyard
Fear was upon me
My eyes widely opened
As the thoughts came,my breathe increased simultaneously.

Another thought was registered in my mind
In a humble and encouraging tone
Asking me to commit murder
I tried to make a move
But the body was dead as the spirit was willing.

Oh,how do I help myself
How do I end this temptation
No remedy means seems to come
Even at this it kept scrolling in my mind.

Now the worst of it all came
In a low and devilish tone, it whispered to me saying;
Go,go and commit suicide.

Yes, I replied boldly in my mind
This may put an end to this tempting menace
On a second thought
Is it right to do so?
I asked myself.

The human body kept praying for sleep to come
The mind was battling with the thoughts.
What shall I do?
I kept asking myself.
