My Grandmother was sick and dying and I wrote a poem to show her how special she is to me.
Dear Grandma

Grandma, you’ve always been there,
You’re dear to my heart,
And I know you care,
When we’re far apart,
You’re in my thoughts and prayers,
I wish I could fix everything,
And take the pain and suffering away,
Happiness is what I’ll bring,
To you each and everyday,
I’ll bring you some flowers,
And most of all sit there with you,
Hoping it will bring you strength and power,
To over come what you’re going through,
I wish you were still here,
Yes, I really do,
So I don’t worry and fear,
That something might happen to you,
I ask God every night,
To have his angel watch over you,
Help make sure you’re all right,
So another day you can make it through.
