Just something I came up with. One's first love can be addictive.
This isn’t an ordinary addiction,
This is her first addiction.
The one she’ll always remember,
The one she’ll always long for.

It paces through her thoughts,
It races through her wildest dreams.
She can’t turn it off,
She can’t recall a time it wasn’t there.

The taste and smell draws her in,
The vivid picture drives her insane.
She’s always wishing, always craving it,
Waiting for the feelings to flood back.

She doesn’t want the chance to escape it,
She dares it to move closer.
She knows it can complete her,
She knows it can completely destroy her.

Nothing has been so easy,
Nothing has felt this right.
She can’t bear to think of life without it,
She can’t lose it after all this time.

This isn’t an ordinary addiction,
This is her first addiction.
She never, ever wants to stop loving it,
She’ll never, ever let him go.
