Having my cake and eating it too.
One time I had a small cupcake
my lady friend took time to bake.
There was icing and a candle,
a temptation hard to handle.

It tempted me with its delight
to go ahead and take a bite.
It looked delicious with its fudge,
I kept my mouth shut, would not budge.

It was no use, I had to taste
although it might go to my waist.
I would have liked to keep it though
and use it as pastry ammo.

I ate my cake and it was good,
such rich dessert is understood.
But just before I took a bite
I photographed it left and right.
