With an Overactive Imagination
Dirty shallow pools of doubt,
Cover weary and bored minds.
Turning from yellow to red,
Traffic signals foretell long unmoving lines.

All day and a full gas tank,
Wasted while the signals decide,
If the green traffic lights work:
Is catching the city bus a better ride?

Line count: 8
Form: An Endecha is composed of 4-line stanzas (quatrains) with no stanza limit. The rhyme scheme is a-b-c-b and the syllable structure is 7-7-7-11.
