Between two No wheres. Lost. Struggling to make to right choice in life, in love.
Between two Nowheres

Stranded in a winding hallway, unaccompanied.
Between two doors that lead to no place.
The first door I entered. Locked,
There’s no going back. So I accept it.

The second door, vulnerable with its shining presence,
Slams shut as I approach, no means of unbolting.
Just when I thought that I had reached.
Stuck between two nowheres.

Trapped outside, boundless in mind,
As soon as I break free,
My insides turn into a hollow void.
Physically liberated, mentality submerged in rigidness.

I’m stuck in the middle,
Between two doors, that lead to no home,
But another identical hallway.
Stuck between two nowheres.

No scene to enter, nothing I can do,
So I fade away, don’t pity me.
You won’t notice I’m gone.
Don’t try to save me.

I’m here because of you.
Spellbound in uncertainty.
Wrapped in helplessness.
Stuck between two nowheres.

You can break my heart.
You can shatter me completely.
You can leave me with nothing,
But you can’t break my spirit.

So I drill a hole,
Drill through the deep thick walls,
For stretched hours, lost outside of time.
Months, years, maybe a lifetime.

But at least I will know,
I’ll soon be free, drifting away,
Not ever again and no longer
Stuck between two nowheres.
