The Space Between My Fingers

The space between my fingers
is where yours fit
While still your touch lingers
Just stay for a little bit

Love at first sight
Not my story but yours
I first threw a fight
It is only you that my eye adores

It is you I dream of
Every night I see
That what we have is love
I want to be all we can be

Baby please don't leave me
Don't ever go away
When people say we weren't meant to be
Oh how I disagree

Because after all is said and done
I will always say
I love you
