Upon the cross our savior died, for our lives, to be with us
40 lines

You’re the majestic King of above who carries the sign of a dove
And you have an everlasting love
You didn’t deserve the chief priest’s lies
Jesus Christ dead such a painful death

Love your neighbor as yourself
That’s what you taught before you left
Love the Lord with all your heart
You preached before the day you part
We’re in my heart, You loved me from the start, I’ll carry my cross, With your words a rose

The scriptures come true
The first coming of you
Your suffering was for me
How could so much love be

Upon the cross
Your body hung lost
Our lives were once at cost
Your bravery proved the son of the most high
Murder on a tree

During this magical Easter Season
I think deeply of the blessed son
I come closer to heaven won
The bible in my hands as tears come

Blood from your thorn crowned head, Blood from your nailed through wrists
Blood from your nailed together feet, Blood from your pierced side
How could anyone do this, After the diseases you’re cured
The demons you sent to apse
And the dead breath you reput into life

How could your life be cursed, When the blinded could see
The ears could hear, And the unclean you cleansed
What was the trouble with the crippled straightened
With the spirit in your heart, The inspiration from your lips
Why were they set to tire you apart

So why was your blood to pour, Why did Judas become sour
Peter to deny your side, Other’s ran to hide
Your cured the delicate sick, Physically and spiritually
The choosen twelve you picked, Who also fixed is magically

You are our creater, Satan can’t do better
The hypocrites plots, Even after death plus resurrection
Your love can never die and Your parables express why
Everlasting promise plus love and the Holy Spirit an elite sign of a dove
