Maybe her home is in the stars....(A poem)
Nothing
She feels nothing
Not the beating of her heart
Not the blood coursing through her veins
She is lost within herself
Her soul is trapped inside the darkness
In a world of so many
Somehow she is still
Alone
They all treat her like garbage
Thrown carelessly away
That is all she is
And she's afraid
That is all she'll ever be
You all close your eyes to talk to her
How is it that her pain is not
Even worth your recognition?
Can you not see
What’s so blatantly in front of you?
The numbness fills her up
She's about to burst
Sky high
Up into the heavens,
The universe above
Maybe her home is in the stars
She was just born in the wrong world
And they've all left her side
The ones that said they’d be there for anything
For everything
Forever
Have all turned away at the sight of trouble
She is not worth anyone's time
That's what she has learned
That she is worthless
Stupid
Hopeless
That she is nothing
And left there all alone
All alone to die
