Fourth of July mornings are special and memorable.
Hot, muggy, and clear dawns this special July morn
When hearts and souls become torn
Between joy and mourning for those not home
To celebrate our freedom on this bright July morn.

Families gather together to celebrate
With loved ones and to demonstrate
The love of country and the freedoms earned
By the blood and lives of those who did not return.

Food, fun, and fireworks galore
Fill the day and evening with each citizen wanting more.
The sight of Old Glory waving bravely in the sky
Reminds us of the sacrifices made to keep freedom alive.
