Bliss, pure Bliss, that's what loving you is. 1st Place, Expressions Of Emotions Contest
Bliss

In life I’ve had many sweet things,
Been treated greatly, like a king.
We met, I fell in an abyss,
I’d never before known such Bliss.

Your eyes so blue, lips of rose,
My poor heart skipped, I was in throes
I’m sure I jerked about like this,
I’d never before known such Bliss

I longed to kiss you, was unsure
Lost in love, was there a known cure?
In the future we’ll reminisce
I’d never before known such Bliss

You winked at me, I walked on air
The world could end, I wouldn’t care.
We leaned close and shared a first kiss
I’d never before known such Bliss

Now I’ve had so many joys in life
None equal you being my wife
You are my love, I can’t resist
I’d never before known such Bliss
