Free writin prose.
Contrasting thoughts run down a drain
Memories of perfect youth drown me
So simple to see the water of reflection
But to witness change, provokes fear
Shying away from dear we hide with monsters
Gnashing ghouls that tear through our thoughts
Tiny worries watered and nourished
Increasing maturity with the mind of a child
Neglecting thought and life
Walking withered
Lifeblood is a finite commodity
Wasting long hours, to waste life
Throwing it all away from a solemn sigh
Unable to speak from the hook in my throat
The line catches and I fall further
Pulled from the water, released for another day
Non-sense moanings and thoughts of foreign decent
Interpreted in pools of youth
Understood in final moments
Internalized with the coming of new change.
