How my bipolar life is guided.

My Moods

Mood is the color of my fingernail polish today and now,
And the way I choose to cover my feet on this expedition.
Mood sets the rhythm of my rock and roll heartbeat,
And mood is the center of my self-administered idealist mysticism.

On a roller coaster ride that never ends,
I can’t depend upon things like friends.
I will await my new day’s mood,
After I take in my eye's options for the day’s sun food.

I could never lay out my clothes the night before,
I’d change my mind five times before I got out the door.
The same applies to what I’m going to eat,
A trip to the grocery store, to the general store, causes me to heat..

My mood selects the TV show that occupies my ears,
My mood undermines my plans in or out of past shopping fears.
My mood sets my phone so that I’m not at all home.
My mood rules parts of my life, I wish it would leave alone.
