no reason to die
Black walls, dark stains dripping down
I cry in vain, scream out his name, look around
What happened last night, where am I now
How could he do this to me, how?

I gave him my heart, soul and all
I tripped right into him, but he made me fall
Fall hard to the floor, his body on mine
Tangles of darkness, sleek and serpentine

Wicked laughter echoes across the room
Suddenly not alone, shadows in the gloom
Is he back, here to save me like he said
Take me away, make me his newlywed?

Alas, no, it's not him that I see
It's just a shadow, a remnant of me
He's long gone and I, alone, here remain
Pieces of tattered flesh, slips of grey brain

Laughter turns dark and fades into cries
The truths that he told all slide into lies
I am nothing alive, nothing dead, never free
I am only scattered bits of raw immortality

White glistening bone breaks free from cut skin
Pushing me down, pulling me deeper in
Pain aches and courses through torn veins
Nothing left of me, no soul to reclaim

I am alone, in the dark room of pain
Aching and sobbing, slippery and slain
My body dissolved in ashes of lye
No reason to live, no reason to die.
