A little ditty about the unceasing move of time.
Time Creeps On....

This day is done and gone
but time creeps on....

Lingering,
Ever slowly,

Thoughts fill my mind
of a long, long ago time,
from when you were mine
And still, time creeps on....

Lingering,
Ever slowly,

With me, you were there,
we had no cares to share.
Soaking up the sun,
holding hands and having fun.
Joyfully, time creeps on.....

I dream of that day,
and wish we could stay,
In that place warm,
free from care or want or harm,
There the two together drawn,
would be happy, having fun and loving on.
But yet again, time creeps on....

Always creeping,
never ceasing,
time creeps on.
Until you are gone
and only love lives on....
