I was going through some old journals and found this short poem I had written a while ago!
I am.
Make this whatever it is that you will.
Carry my body to the top of the hill.
Bury my bones beneath the sea.
Attach my neck to a rope on a tree.

I am.
Tell me everything happens some way.
Tell me everyone dies someday.
Tell me my mind lives with the stars.
Tell me what it is that you think of my heart.

I am.
Take me down to a land far away.
Tell me your ponderings every day.
Just know I'm a soul who lives but one way:

I am.
