A little musing on life and Death.

One day, you too, shall join the legions of the dead,

And the dust will lie without memory.

Others shall be born,

Not Knowing you existed.

A sombering thought of Existential Angst?

But for Now you Are here.

You Exist.

You Are.

You should do what you Like;

Stay Awake for days, or alter Your mind.

Make your own truth.

Play your own Game.

If you so desire,

Now is your time to shine.

How can you bare to look Back in regret?

It Shames the person you were.

Welcome your Mistakes

Knowing that they're your Own.

Live While you're alive.

For, one day, you too, shall join the legions of the dead,

And the dust will lie without memory.

Others shall be born, and Die

Not Knowing you existed.

Leave regret to the cold earth,

When it covers your head.

It is not death that Mocks us;

But Life.

Note: The seemingly random capitalization in my poem is intentional. It's an archaic means of emphasis.
