Now

Hopeless, lost

Hurting, hating, harming

Dour, dire, dirty, depressing

Tearing, tormenting, torturing,

Helpless, wary

Today

2.

Living

Hungry, lonely

Hating, hunting, harvesting

Is there no hope?

Teasing, terrorising, torching

Harried, watchful

Suffering.
