fate worse than death
I once knew a girl but we'd never met
Her time had come she had lost every bet
The Reaper was closing he would not be denied
There was no where to run and no place to hide
She thought she was strong and could swim through the grey
But the Sad Ones and Bad Ones had come out to play
With them at the table it always turns black
She started to weez she started to hack
She knew this was it and stared at the sky
Her fight was done she was ready to die
Enough time had passed and she knew she was dead
But she opened her eyes and all had gone red
The red it was blood but she knew she was fine
As it was not hers and it was not mine
Death he had spared her but not to be kind
For she had her life but he had her mind
