Shoes gifted by my beloved

Its been two years
My power shoes
But now time has come
For me to dump it
The vamp is worn-out
Like an old man's smile
Thank you my shoes
I'll name you jini
I'm sorry that I coudn't name you
Named you at a time when I'm leaving you
I could still wear you
But a torn pair of shoes
Has no place in our society
I know you have served
If i were to wear you
Even the sales-girls of a pan-dukan
will neglect me
I know you have proved your mettle
Jini had gifted you to me
Don't worry I'll keep you
Along with the other gifts from her
Let's go for the last time
I'll take you to the place where we first met.
