Where is my car?
I lost my silver Focus once when I was at the mall;
I searched and searched the parking lot but had no luck at all.
Throughout a sea of cars and vans I looked till I was blue;
I just couldn’t find the damn thing.

At first I thought I spotted it next to a Cadillac;
and I was very happy that I solved my Focus lack.
But then my sudden burst of glee was dashed upon the lot;
that wasn’t it at all.

I got the mall security to help me look around;
I rode within his pickup truck--a Focus to be found.
We saw a lot of silver cars appropriate in size;
I said to him at one point: “This is damned peculiar.”

As we were making one more loop around this sea of cars,
feeling like my concentration had journeyed off to Mars,
we finally discovered it ‘twixt Bonnevilles in black;
I drove away and was so glad to have my Focus back.
