Comparison of a mother's love for her son & music; which is his calling.
You’re My Melody

You’re like a melody played on my heart.
    One stuck in my head.
I play it over & over in my mind.
    I hum its tune all day long.

You’re melody brings me great joy.
    Memories of tunes played long ago.
They bring a smile to my face.
    They bring joy to my heart.

The current melody you sing;
    It fills my heart with pride.
You sing with the Spirit.
    You make melody in your heart to the Lord.

You lift up your voice with joy.
    Keep playing your melody.
I’ll keep humming your tune;
    Adding new melodies to those sung long ago.
