About an ex who hopefully wont be an ex much longer
Sitting here right now,
Once again wondering how,
She was able to hide it from me.
She made me think
No way does she love me.
Then after a month apart she spoke those words.

After she left me I never thought to hear them from her.
Now after reading those words,
My hearts beats on a spur,
Of pure emotion,
It’s like she gave me a potion,
My breath ran out on me,
I don’t know what to do,
So I simply replied I love you.
It’s not the first time I said those words.

I hope it won’t be the last.
Hearing her say those words was like a blast,
To the face that knocked me into the past.
Hearing myself utter those words into her ear.
With my face covered with her ruby red hair.
In response I would get a brush of the lips,
A small squeeze of my hand,
Tiny little tips as though I could tell,
But never till now did I hear those words.
My hearts engages itself to much,
Now I once again yearn for her touch.
While hearing her say those words.

The words are magic,
In some cases they’re tragic.
They’ve created hearts of joy,
Filled eyes with tears,
It’s my greatest fear,
Though all I want to hear,
Are those words.
