I walk down a darkened street, Staring up into the luminesent moon.
I walk down a darkened street
Staring up into the luminesent moon

It's eternal phases
A reminder of it's past days

It is easy to think, of how once
We belived that gods lived up there

For It was always close enough to see
But too far to reach

Remember when the moon was a mystery
A bright white orb in the sky

When the Japanese said there was a rabbit
And the Greeks and Romans, a goddess

If we were to go back in time
Would they belive in what we preached

Would the people be in awe
Or would we be cast off from society itself

I walk down a darkened street
Staring up into the luminesent moon

Thinking to my self
About the unlimited possibilities of the moon
