This is a poem from my heart
Lights...Camera...Action

Gazing out my bedroom window
Mesmerized by the sky so blue
I begin to ponder thoughts of you.

The moon so bright, so bold, so new
They reflect the feelings, I have for you.
In respect to you,
I shall ask, “Why needing you is taboo?”

And, loving you, a sin?
When did all this craziness begin?
Oh yes, with a slight grin…
And the soft sounds of a violin
Or…was it, the bathtub gin?

A flicker of light, now, shutters a tear,
Wait! Don’t leave me, my dear
I need to conquer your challenge: fear
Hopefully, sometime this year...

A star, I see
A star, I will be
As these thoughts of you: live and breathe inside of me.
