late nights

Once again I find myself sitting in this chair
with nothing on my face just a blank stare

I don't understand why I can't go to sleep at night
but when I find it's time to get up it's the morning that I will fight

It's already 3:29 and I have all these thoughts racing through my mind
But I'm going to close my eyes and hope its sleep that I will find

I think it's my dreams that I don't want to endure
Take my mind some place else ... anywhere
