A poem about old friends.
I came upon a creek one day
While I was passing through,
It reminded me of my old friend
It reminded me of you.

I looked upon the waters
Remembering the days,
When I was happy, always with you
It vanishes in the haze

I shed a tear for all I missed
Where did those days go?
But I smiled through my stinging eyes
For you taught me all I know.

You taught me how to love
And you taught me how to fear,
You taught me how to speak
And you taught me how to hear.

Without you I’d be nothing
But a nomad writing prose,
If I had never met you-
My life’s most brilliant rose
