A poem about waking up.
Borderline
Awake, asleep
Is this dream fleeting,
Or mine to keep

Sound blares
Shoots past my head
A Modest Mouse
Lifts me from my bed

Dawn has come
Light fills my sight
The routine begins
I will not fight

This sudden urge
I want to run
Far away from
Everyone

But I will stay
And perhaps see
What this dream
Has in store for me
