A brief description of fall.
Fall.

The beginning of fall is always the hardest

It’s hard to let go of the warmth of summer.

It’s hard to let go of the green, and the carefree visits with friends.

Mid-fall is pleasant.

Pleasantly cool, and coloured in every array of red, orange, yellow and brown.

Layers of clothes, warm drinks and hats.

Late fall is cold, and dreary.

Almost like winter, but without the snow.

The trees are missing their leaves, and the grass is brown and frosted in the morning.

Late fall means hats, scarves and mittens.

A cup of cocoa with friends around the fire, gentle and quiet conversations.
