A young Frenchman falls in love with a malevolent seductress.
Arman, son of Basile, the wine maker from Burgundy, stood motionless in a beautiful girl’s arms. Blinded by false love, the former robust, virile Frenchman weakened and wearied under the enchantress’ spell.

The seductress pulled Arman closer into her embrace and comforted the mortal’s suffering before her final blow and his demise.

He bowed and whispered, “Je t’aime.”

Then, the succubus ripped Arman’s eyes from their sockets with bird-like claws as her serpentine tail pierced his heart.

The coup de grace done, the succubus returned to the ice caves where she waited until another lover fell under her spell.
