A poem about the word mommy
The word mommy

"Mommy" i heard to my delight
Something i had not heard in a many night
Mommy was all i needed to hear
From my 3yr old little dear

Most people do not know
How he suffers so
3yrs old and just started talkin
Now hes walkin too!

The doctors say they do not know
how much damaged was caused
When he entered this world
When we were not ready

He holds my hand tightly
Walks towards daddy very lightly
He looks up at me and says the word i love
"mommy"

For I am at a loss for words
The word he just spoke so clear
a word i hold very dear

My 3yr old made me proud
When he said "mommy"
something the doctors had come to doubt
that he would ever do!
